Laws - Faith HelpOne of the pillars of your faith is your Holy Laws. These determine what your followers should and should not be doing, and may have a wide variety of effects on your followers' Virtues. While many laws improve your followers' virtues, some also have negative effects.Each law will increase the Burden on your people, depending on the extent to which you expect your followers to follow it. Some laws (such as disallowing speaking) are more burdensome than others (such as disallowing killing). The more severe your stance is on each law has a big impact on its effects. Merely suggesting your followers do something usually makes little difference, but requiring it likely will. Very strict laws also tend to increase burden drastically. Having a high Order score will increase your followers' adherence to the laws, and hence increase their effects (but not their burden.) |
